The photograph shows all that's left of the power station; the cooling towers. The comment on the photo reads:- They've just said that this station will not be knocked down, that's it then, it'll be gone in a year.

Photo of the month - August 2006August's photo is called "OOOoooh that is sOooooo GOOOoooood" and was taken by Yettis Doings. It was obviously taken near a National Trust poperty in the UK, but the photographer doesn't say where. The photograph shows longhorn cattle scratching themselves against a sign. The accompanying text says "Bog off this is my sharp bit... go find yer own". "Bog off" is slang for "Go away" and "yer own" is slang for "your own". |
Photo of the month - July 2006July's photo is called "Slobbery England Supporter Flies the Flag" and was taken by me. It was taken in my living room when England was playing against Ecuador. The photograph shows my pet dog Sam holding the English flag. The English flag is a red cross on a white background, it's called the St George's cross. St George is the patron saint of England. Of course the flag should be flown horizontally, but Sam didn't know that.

Photo of the month - June 2006June's photo is called "My 2000th photo" and was taken by me. It was taken along the Mosel river at a place called Cochum in Germany. The photograph shows 7 children, 6 girls and a boy, sitting on the bank of the river and dipping their feet into the water. There are three pairs of shoes lying on the ground behind them. The girls are wearing a garland of flowers round their necks.
